چکیده

Electrocatalytic CO2 reduction reaction (CRR) is a promising way to convert carbon dioxide (CO2) into value-added hydrocarbons alleviate the ever-increasing environmental problem and accelerate realization of cycling. Cost-effective stable electrocatalytic materials with low overpotential, superior selectivity, excellent activity great stability are critically important achieve such target. Cu-based electrocatalysts candidates for electrochemical CRR due their versatile abilities converting various products. This review analyzes summarizes current progress in utilization catalytic CRR. Monometallic, bimetallic, trimetallic, multimetallic variable elemental compositions tunable morphologies, including Cu nanowires, nanocubes (NCs), porous structures, alloys, Cu-oxide/hydrogen oxide, single atoms, 2D substrate-supported CRR, surveyed. Substantial advances overcoming existing bottlenecks eletrocatalysts effectively improving performance future applications systematically discussed. Challenges perspectives also offered, which may shed light on further development performance. It anticipated that this will provide valuable insight rational design synthesis highly efficient large-scale utilization.
